Matcha Cartel

Challenge

Matcha Cartel needed to communicate matcha’s cultural history and growing commercial demand without relying on the familiar calm, wellness-led visual language used by many matcha brands.

Approach

Byndex delivered the website as an immersive Framer experience, framing matcha as a controlled commodity moving through an underground system. The experience combines a dark visual system, structured editorial storytelling, responsive interaction, 3D assets and motion-led transitions.

Concept and narrative development, brand and visual-system execution, interactive website design, Framer development, responsive implementation, 3D and motion integration, and experience quality assurance.

Outcome

The finished experience presents Matcha Cartel as an interactive archive with a distinct narrative identity. The project received an Awwwards Honorable Mention on June 28, 2026.
